The aim of this contribution is theinvestigation the influence of the coating formulation on physical – mechanicalproperties especially on the hardness of finished surfaces, the adhesion offilms of lacquers to wooden substrates, the resistance of finished surface toimpact, the resistance of finished surfaces to mechanical demage - the impacttests. Tensile tests on free films have been messurend tensile stress. Therewere ivestigated transparent nitrocellulose, polyuretanne and UV curing highsolid acrylic lacquers.The results showed confirmed the raltion between elasticmodulus and strain at break on physical-mechanical properties of finishedsurfaces. nbsp;
