dc.description.abstractThe study has been undertaken at Kaynaşlı town of Duzce. The study was aimed at evaluating the competence of the near surface formations as foundation materials. Additionally, geotechnical seismic shear velocities (VP, V S ) were researched that soils magnify the shear wave velocity which is produced by earthquake. Additionally that resonance could coincide with the natural period of soils and natural period of superstructure was investigated.
dc.description.abstractKaynaşlı (Düzce), birinci derece deprem bölgesi niteliklerine sahip bir Pliyo-Kuvaterner çökelme alanıdır. Arazide Sismik kayma kırılması Testi (VP ,V S ) çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Çalışma alanının deprem etkisinde geoteknik parametrelerinin ve buna bağlı olarak zeminin deprem ivmesini büyütme değerlerinin değişimi araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca deprem etkisinde zemin parametrelerinin değişeceği düşüncesiyle, zemin ve yapı doğal titreşimlerinin rezonans uyumu araştırılmıştır.
