Abstract
Bu çalışmada; sığ kriyojenik işlemin (-80°C) AISI 430ferritik paslanmaz çeliğinin özellikleri üzerine etkisi araştırılmıştır.Kriyojenik işlemin AISI 430 çeliğinin performansına etkisini incelemek amacıyla0, 6, 12, 24 saat olmak üzere farklı kriyojenik bekletme süreleriçalışılmıştır. AISI 430 çeliğine uygulanan kriyojenik işlem ile çeliğin mekanikve fiziksel özelliklerinin iyileştirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Mekaniközelliklerinin tespiti amacıyla standartlara uygun olarak hazırlanan deneynumunelerine çekme testleri yapılmış olup, sığ kriyojenik işlem süresinin çekmedayanımı ve akma dayanımı özelliklerini olumlu etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.Yapılan çalışmalar sonucunda kriyojenik işlemin uygulanmasının AISI 430çeliğinin mekanik özelliklerini arttırdığı ve bu çalışma için optimum bekletmesüresinin 24 saat olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
In this study; the effect of shallow cryogenic operation (-80 ° C) on the properties of AISI 430 ferritic stainless steel was investigated. In order to investigate effects on the performance of the cryogenic process of AISI 430 steel, it was tried different cryogenic hold times 0, 6, 12, and 24 hours. The cryogenic process applied to AISI 430 steel is aimed to improve the mechanical and physical properties. Mechanical properties of tensile tests were performed in order to identify those samples prepared in accordance with standard tensile strength and yield of shallow cryogenic processing time has been determined that the positive impact resistance properties. Studies have concluded that the application of the cryogenic process improve the mechanical properties of AISI 430 steel, and it was determined that the optimum holding time is 24 hours for this study.
