Business Management in Sports in the Perspective of Technological Developments

Technological developments have supported the development of the sports sector, as in all industrial areas. Technology has become an important environmental element in terms of strategic management in the industrialization process of sports. Sports equipment, stadiums, digital materials recording sports competitions, live broadcasting, digital tickets, etc. support the development of the sports industry. In addition, digital storage of leagues and tournaments, sports and athlete records, internet and mobile applications, etc. are other contributions of technology to sports. Recently, the introduction of artificial intelligence into sports has created the opportunity to analyze athletes’ physical data, training, and matches quickly and accurately. As a result, the opportunities provided by developing technology make the development of sports production and consumption sustainable.
