    “DIGGING OUT THE SORE OF UNIVERSITY” TARLAN-KARAHAN MATTER BY THE PERSPECTIVE OF NECİP FAZIL AND BÜYÜK DOĞU

    An interview titled “University with Its All Matters between Two Professor” has been published in Büyük Doğu in the date of 26 June 1967. When these interviews have been read, we witness that there has been quarrel between Prof. Dr. Ali Nihad Tarlan and Prof. Dr. Abdulkadir Karahan both of whom study in department of Classical Turkish Literature in Faculty of Literature in Istanbul University. It is clear that this quarrel started before 1967. The person who reflected the quarrel to the press firstly is Ali Nihad Tarlan. And Necip Fazıl is the person with whom Tarlan discussed the situation. And Necip Fazıl is also the person who announced and ended the quarrel by means of press which started and continued in Büyük Doğu. In this article we will clarify this subject/quarrel.
