    Sıfır Altı Yaş Arası Çocuğu Olan Annelerin Ev Kazalarına Yönelik Güvenlik Önlemlerinin Tanılanması

    It is performed to determine the sensibility of the mothers with children aged between zero and six on security measuresagainst home accidents. The study is conducted with 130 mothers who have children aged between 0-6, do not havecommunication problems, are willing to participate in the research and are literate. For collecting data, SocioDemographic Features Question Form and “Definitive Scale for Security Measures Taken by Mothers against HomeAccidents for 0-6 Years Old Children” are used. The average scores of the mothers on “Definitive Scale for SecurityMeasures Taken by Mothers against Home Accidents for 0-6 Years Old Children” is calculated as 73.79±16.50. Amongthe mothers participating in the research, 28.5%are in 26-30 age brackets, 34.6% are primary education graduates and70% are housewives. For the children, 53.8% of them had home accidents before and falling is the most common typeof accident (27.7%) among them. A statistically significant correlation was found between educational status, employmentstatus, family type, income status and residence of the mothers with their scores in definitive scale against home accidents(p
