    Gastrointestinal lipomas are benign, slowly growing submucosal tumors. They are most frequently seen in the colon and are least common in the stomach. Small gastric lipomas are frequently asymptomatic; however, larger tumors can manifest clinically with massive gastrointestinal hemorrhage, obstruction, invagination. We present a case of gastric lipoma which manifested with an episode of acute gastrointestinal hemorrhage and reviewed the literature
