    Evaluatıon of Relatıonshıp Between Psychologıcal Resılıence, Self-Suffıcıency and Socıal Emotıonal Learnıng Skılls of Chıldren Who Stays in Chıdren’s Houses

    In this study, it was aimed to investigate the relationships between the psychological resilience, self-efficacy and social emotional learning skills of the adolescents living in the children's houses connected to Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policy in Kars. Adolescents participated to the research were consisted of N=50 participants which were n=39 girls and n=11 male aged between 12-17 years and living in the Child Houses connected to Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Policy Sociodemographic Information Form, Brief Psychological Resilience Scale, Children's Self-Efficacy Scale and Social Emotional Skills Learning Scale were applied in the study. As a result of the statistical analyzes, positive relationships between the psychological resilience, self-efficacy and social emotional learning skills of the adolescents were determined. Besides, it has been determined that the mother's working life is a factor that increases the self-efficacy, psychological resilience and social emotional skills of the adolescents. From this point of view, it is considered that giving special importance to the mother's participation in the working life of the parents of the children of institutional care and strengthening their families and supporting them will play a crucial iv role in protecting children's mental health.
