Öğe NURSING 2.0: SUGGESTION OF A PARADIGM CHANGE IN NURSING CARE AND EDUCATION IN TURKEY(Haşim ÇAPAR, 2022) Kara, Bircan; Akdeniz, Canberk; Kavaslar, İbrahimCollaboration among institutions providing nursing education and nursing services is named in different ways such as clinical cooperation, school-hospital cooperation, academy-service partnership. Today, these collaborations are emerged to ensure the nursing education learning outcomes and to support students' clinical practices. However, although these practices have positive outputs, they cannot be sustained due to institutional and individual reasons. Although there are no examples in which faculty members participate in patient care, care management, and hospital management processes in the Turkish literature, few relevant suggestions are emphasized. In this editorial, we examined the school-hospital cooperation examples, proposed a new approach based on an integration paradigm instead of cooperation. We also clarified the prerequisites for the implementation of the model, possible risk factors, and declared suggestions for the change needed.
