    Founded In Turkey Wind Power Plant (WPP) Examination of Landscape Rehabilitation Works In terms of Landscape Arhitecture: Osmaniye-Bahçe Wind Power Plant

    Wind energy is one of the renewable energy sources, the interest on wind energy is increasing day by day. While on a global scale the wind power stations contribute to solve problems such as water consumption, carbon dioxide emission, raw material, hazardous waste, on a regional scale it changes natural and cultural landscape and interrupts aesthetic values.In this study, it is investigated the effects of natural and cultural landscape features and these effects completely are abolished by using landscape rehabilitation techniques or they are reduced to minimum level. Osmaniye-Bahçe Wind Power Plant is designated as research area which is located Gökçe Mountain between the Bahçe and Hasanbeyli districts in Osmaniye. Wind power plant has total installed power of 135 MW with electricity generation that provides 54 wind turbines. In this study about natural and cultural landscape analysis in the research area are done. It is determined that the research area is at first- degree earthquake and erosion of state is located ‘Severe’ and ‘Very Severe’ degrees. Slopes emerge at the road edges and around turbines that provide to access wind turbine which takes at different heights and gradient groups. Because of first degree earthquake zone of the research area and having ‘Severe’, ‘Very Severe’ erosion state, it is demonstrated that slope areas become vulnerable to the possible potential impact. In order to eliminate these effects, landscape rehabilitation proposals are developed for the research area
