In thisstudy, accessories that give functionality and prestige to the furniture andcontribute to the quality, aesthetics and beauty at the same time, industrialproduction and foreign trade as the development of the structural situation inTurkey in this field have been investigated. In this context, the development ofthe sector present results of the study conducted on furnishing accessoriesmanufacturer in Turkey last 10 years foreign trade (exports-imports) wasevaluated in the framework of the data. Material and technological developmentlevel of world standards, some product groups have shown that an equivalentstructure of Turkey accessory industry; (45.4%) in terms of catching up andimplementing the development trends in the world furniture sector and being ina market environment open to unfair competition conditions (35.6%). As aresult, the general problems of the sector study essentially both productgroups, identified as undefined as well as industry groups stems from a sectoreffect in achieving the strategic objectives of Turkey's furniture sector, was alsomaking suggestions for the improvement of international competitiveness oftaking accessories industry into consideration.Öğe Effect of heat treatment on some mechanical properties of laminated window profiles manufactured using two types of adhesives(Mdpi, 2008) Korkut, Derya Sevim; Korkut, Süleyman; Dilik, TuncerThe mechanical properties of laminated window profiles manufactured using two types of adhesives were determined. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of heat treatment on some mechanical properties of laminated window profiles that manufactured from Kosipo (Entandrophragma candollei Harms.) using differenet type adhesives. Commercially produced polyurethane based Macroplast UR 7221 and polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) adhesive were used for experiments. The overall test results were found to be comparable to those obtained in the previous studies. Both types of adhesives resulted in significant differences in their strength characteristics at 95% confidence level. Adhesive UR 7221 improved the overall properties of the samples in contrast to PVAc.Öğe The effects of heat treatment on the physical properties and surface roughness of Turkish Hazel (Corylus colurna L.) wood(Mdpi, 2008) Korkut, Derya Sevim; Korkut, Süleyman; Bekar, İlter; Budakçı, Mehmet; Dilik, Tuncer; Çakıcıer, NevzatHeat treatment is often used to improve the dimensional stability of wood. In this study, the effects of heat treatment on the physical properties and surface roughness of Turkish Hazel (Corylus colurna L.) wood were examined. Samples obtained from Kastamonu Forest Enterprises, Turkey, were subjected to heat treatment at varying temperatures and for different durations. The physical properties of heat-treated and control samples were tested, and oven-dry density, air-dry density, and swelling properties were determined. A stylus method was employed to evaluate the surface characteristics of the samples. Roughness measurements, using the stylus method, were made in the direction perpendicular to the fiber. Four main roughness parameters, mean arithmetic deviation of profile (Ra), mean peak-to-valley height (Rz), root mean square roughness (Rq), and maximum roughness (Ry) obtained from the surface of wood were used to evaluate the effect of heat treatment on the surface characteristics of the specimens. Significant difference was determined (p = 0.05) between physical properties and surface roughness parameters (Ra, Rz, Ry, Rq) for three temperatures and three durations of heat treatment. The results showed that the values of density, swelling and surface roughness decreased with increasing temperature treatment and treatment times. Turkish Hazel wood could be utilized successfully by applying proper heat treatment techniques without any losses in investigated parameters. This is vital in areas, such as window frames, where working stability and surface smoothness are important factors.Öğe KENT MOBİLYASINDA AHŞAP MALZEME KULLANIMI VE SEÇİMİNE YÖNELİK GÜNCEL BİR DEĞERLENDİRME(Düzce Üniversitesi, 2017) Dilik, Tuncer; Gürsoy, SametBu çalışma, kent mobilyalarının,sektörel olarak Türkiye’deki durumu ve gelişim olanakları ile kent mobilyasıüretiminde kullanılan ahşap malzeme seçimine yönelik güncel bir değerlendirmeyikapsamaktadır. Türkiye mobilya endüstrisi içinde yatırıma ve gelişmeye açık biralt sektör konumunda olan ahşap kent mobilyası üretim sektörünün, ülkenin talepdüzeyini karşılayacak kapasiteye sahip olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Bununlabirlikte, kentleşme oranına paralel olarak ahşap kent mobilyası üretimininMarmara bölgesinde yoğunlaştığı (%60) ve üreticilerin tek ürün grubunda değilbirden fazla ürün grubunda uzmanlaştığı belirlenmiştir. Kent mobilyalarının enönemli tüketicisi konumundaki Belediyelerin ahşap kent mobilyası ihtiyacınıntamamını yurt içinden sağladığı, Ancak, üreticilerin hammadde için tercihini(%65) ithal malzemelerden yana kullandığı görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak, ahşapmalzemelerin kent mobilyalarındaki kullanım ve tercih üstünlüklerininbelirlendiği bu araştırmada, Dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde de bu amaçlaüretimde en çok Tik, Iroko, Sapelli, Meşe ve Çam türlerinin kullanıldığı ortayaçıkmıştır.Öğe TÜRKİYE MUTFAK MOBİLYASI SEKTÖRÜNDE TÜKETİCİ TERCİH ÖNCELİKLERİNİN BELİRLENMESİ(Düzce Üniversitesi, 2017) Uçar, Ersin; Dilik, Tuncer; Kurtoğlu, AhmetBu bildiride, mutfak mobilyasısektöründeki üretim ve projelendirme çalişmalari üzerindeki tüketicitercihlerinin öncelikleri incelenmiştir. nbsp;Bu kapsamda, tüketicilerin mutfak mobilyasindan olan beklentileri vetercihleri Türkiye’deki mutfak mobilyasi üreticileri üzerinde yapilmiş olanaraştirma sonuçlari çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir. Bu amaçla, 6 kriterin(özgün tasarım, temizlenebilirlik ve hijyen, imaj, güvenlik, standartlaşma vediğer faktörler) tüketici beklenti ve tercihleri üzerindeki öncelikleribelirlenmiştir. Bu çerçevede elde edilen bulgulara göre, öncelik sırasının;özgün tasarım, temizlenebilirlik ve hijyen, imaj, güvenlik, diğer faktörler(fiyat-ekonomiklik) ve standartlaşma şeklinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Busonuçta, sektör işletmelerinin genellikle sipariş (proje) tipi üretimleçalışmasının etkili olduğu görülmektedir. Zira, işletmeler ürettikleri herprojeyi farklı ve özgün bir tasarım olarak tanımlamaktadır. Sonuç olarak,Türkiye mutfak mobilyası sektörünün, dünya mutfak mobilyası sektörü için trendbelirleyici konumdaki Almanya ve İtalya mutfak sektörlerindeki özgün tasarım veimaj önceliklerinden kısmen de olsa etkilenmekte olduğu görülmekte olup, mutfaksektörü için belirlenen tercihlerdeki öncelik sıralaması neden-sonuç ilişkisiiçinde açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır.Öğe User preferences and problems encountered in the selection of housing windows in Turkey(Academic Journals, 2010) Korkut, Derya Sevim; Dilik, Tuncer; Erdinler, E. Seda; Koç, Hüseyin; Kurtoğlu, AhmetIn this study, the most preferred window type relating to housing in Turkey according to the quality of the material used during production, the reasons of preference, the problems encountered during the use of the preferred windows, production defects and the assessments of the users relating to windows production industry have been studied. The study is planned within the scope of Duzce city, a region with a great disaster and damage during the 1999 earthquakes in Turkey. The basic reasons for selecting the region as the study region are the socio-economical structure of the region and its position which makes it open for industrial developments, as well as displaying a faster structuring and renovation process compared to the other regions in Turkey. Direct surveys have been applied to different families living in Duzce city. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the users consider the durability of the window while selecting (71%) and this is followed by affordability (20%), availability of service facilities (7%) and other reasons (2%). Furthermore, it is also determined that the window preferences of the existing users are 54% plastic (PVC), 38% wood and 8% aluminum.
