It is often perceived only as theseverity of the "physical injury" but it is not enough to explain. As well as its effects on physical, social and emotionalaspects it also impact seriously reproduction life of woman. Violence is not only a health problem it must be alsodiscussed as a risk factor in order to affecting health. The main impacts of domestic violence in women's reproductivehealth are known as unwanted pregnancies, adolescent pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections, chronic pelvic pain,premenstrual syndrome, not enough prenatal care. As a result of physical violence during pregnancy, separation fromthe placenta, premature labor, premature rupture of membranes, ante-partum hemorrhage, uterine rupture and anotherfactor that leads to serious consequences for the mother until her death. One of the first groups of professions that womencontact with highly when they are experiencing violence is health care professionals.
