    The choice of floor insulation and flooring material is a matter of importance for the safety of people and electrical equipment in electrical installations and device safety. The purpose of a safe ground is to ensure the safety of people and electrical equipment. Therefore, in order not to be exposed to any electrical hazards, ground insulation test should be done together with electrical system design. Resistance value is taken as reference in determination of ground insulation suitability and resistance values to be referenced are stated in electric domestic facility regulation. In the study, ground insulation resistance of ground floor of a technical school with granite, marble, ceramic and tile floor which is widely used in the flooring of the building floor was measured and evaluated for electrical safety
