Öğe Cyclooxygenase-2 and Survivin in Superficial Urothelial Carcinoma of the Bladder and Correlation with Intratumoural Microvessel Density(Sage Publications Ltd, 2010) Yıldırım, Ümran; Erdem, Havva; Kayıkçı, A.; Şahin, A.F.; Uzunlar, Ali Kemal; Albayrak, A.This study was designed to investigate the protein levels of cyclooxyogenase-2 (COX-2) and survivin in superficial urothelial carcinoma (UC) and their correlation with microvessel density (MVD). High-grade UC was positive for both COX-2 and survivin protein, and the proportion of tumours positive for both proteins increased with increasing tumour grade. The presence of COX-2 protein was significantly correlated with the presence of survivin protein. Both COX-2 and survivin positivity were significantly correlated with MVD in all patients regardless of tumour grade, but there was no correlation between MVD and COX-2 and survivin positivity by individual tumour grade. Although there was no significant difference in the proportion of COX-2-positive tumours when patients were stratified by tumour stage, a significantly higher proportion of patients with pT1 stage tumours were survivin-positive compared with patients with pTa stage tumours. COX-2 and survivin positivity were significantly correlated in all patients regardless of tumour grade or stage. COX-2 and survivin were significantly correlated in patients with pTa, but there was no correlation in pT1 tumours. These findings demonstrate that together, COX-2, survivin and MVD may play an important role in UC.Öğe Development of CAN and OBD-II Supported Experimental Setup for Vehicle ECU Data Acquisition(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2022) Ceven, S.; Albayrak, A.; Bayir, R.Today, CAN Bus protocol is widely used in various technological fields such as industrial, medical or automotive. Data is provided from ECUs and diagnostic codes through the OBD-II system, which is a standard in vehicles. The aim of this study is to develop an experimental setup to analyze driver driving skills based on vehicle data obtained over CAN Bus protocol with an open-source software. In this study, an experimental setup with a PiCAN 2 module and an LCD touch screen compatible with Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ has been developed. Thanks to the developed experimental setup, it is connected to the vehicle ECU via an OBD-II connector to obtain real-time ECU data of the vehicle. This article presents validation tests to determine the design and construction phases of the system and its functionality as a data logger. Python programming language CAN software library was used on the experimental setup. © 2022 IEEE.Öğe Interface software proposal for heterogeneous data read from a data source(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2021) Zada, A. J. J.; Albayrak, A.In this study, an interface software to be used during the transfer of data from the internet of things, social networks and other data sources to a NoSql data source is proposed. First of all, it was investigated what the internet of things, big data and NoSql technologies are discussed in academic studies, where they are used and what kind of data they produce. There have not been enough resources and studies on how and to which NoSql database will be used and processed big data consisting of various data sources in heterogeneous data form coming from internet of things applications and social networks. In this study, it is about an interface software that will help the NoSql database to analyze, store and use these data sources, especially those with heterogeneous structure, from a large number of data from different sources that make up big data. It is thought that the proposed approach will be useful for researchers who are just starting to work in the big data field. © 2021 IEEE.Öğe Young Driver Gaze (YDGaze): Dataset for driver gaze analysis(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2022) Ceven, S.; Albayrak, A.; Bayir, R.One of the most important factors in ensuring successful and safe driving in the road traffic network is the driver's sense of sight. The driver can determine the environmental factors in the traffic with his gaze and can predict the next move after evaluating it with the current driving position. In this process, the focus of the driver's gaze should be on the area to which the vehicle is heading. Driver eye movements and gaze analysis is a topic that has been intensively studied in recent years in 'Intelligent Driver Assistance Systems'. In this study, a data set was prepared with a group of 40 participants between the ages of 18-28 in order to determine which points the driver looked at while driving. The dataset was created by having each participant look at the labeled areas on the vehicle in turn for one minute. Experimental studies lasted approximately 11 days. Approximately 350 hours of work was carried out to prepare the obtained data set. © 2022 IEEE.
