Öğe Bir Üniversite Hastanesindeki Histerektomi Olgularının Değerlendirilmesi(Düzce Üniversitesi, 2013) A, KarataşObjective: Hysterectomy is the second most common major surgical procedure, after cesarean section in all over the world. It has been reported that the rate of hysterectomy application is tightly associated with age and parity, and will apply nearly 20% at 55-year-old women. We aimed to evaluate hysterectomy cases in our clinic, carried out at last four years. Material and Methods: The hysterectomy operations which performed between January 2008 and December 2011 were evaluated retrospectively. Demographic and operational datas reached from patients’ files were accessed. Results: The mean age of the 284 cases applied abdominal method, 16 applied vaginal hysterectomies, 12 applied laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy were 51±8 years, 54.2±8, and 50±4, respectively. The hysterectomy were performed in 142 cases (46%) for uterine leiomyomas, with the most common indication. 45 patients were operated on because of malignancy. Colporrhaphy operation were carried out at 42 patients, and antiincontinence were at 33, simultaneously. Duration of hospitalization were found, 5.6±2.4 days, 3.7±0.6, and 3.4±2.5, in total abdominal hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy and laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy group, respectively (pÖğe Laparoskopik Operasyonlarımız; Altı Yıllık Deneyim(Düzce Üniversitesi, 2014) A, Karataş; Bıyık, İsmail; Köse, Seyit Ali; Albayrak, Mustafa; Keskin, FatihObjective: Laparoscopy has begun to perform in most of the cases previously operated with laparotomy in last two decade. Clinics are carrying out different kinds of operations varying from diagnostic to oncological procedures according to their experience. We decided to present the laparoscopic operations and findings performed for diagnostic and operative reason in gynecology clinic at last six year. Material and Methods: The laparoscopic operations which performed between January 2006 and December 2011 were retrospectively evaluated. A totally 229 cases in which the laparoscopy was done for diagnostic and operative purpose was included into study. Results: The mean age, gravida, parity and living child numbers of cases were 34.5±9.0 years, 2.0±1.6, 1.9±1.6 and 1.8±1.4, respectively. The 30 of 33 cases evaluated as endometriosis intraoperative were verified as pathologically. The complication rates were 0.9% in cases with diagnostic and minor laparoscopy and 12.5% in 16 cases operated with laparoscopic hysterectomy. Conclusions: Although, the laparoscopic surgery is performed as safely and effectively in thousands of cases all over the world, the complication developing risk should be considered. The advanced operations should be carried out by experienced surgeons. We thought that the specimens should be obtained for the pathological evaluation in all cases. Key complications.
