Öğe Use of ion chromatography method on the determination of some anions in the water collected from Sakarya, Turkey(2019) Altundağ, Hüseyin; Ağar, Şerife; Altıntığ, Esra; Ateş, Asude; Özak, Sezen SivrikayaAbstract: In this study simultaneous analysis of seven different anions (Fluoride, Chloride, Bromide, Nitrite,Nitrate, Phosphate, and Sulfate) in13 different water samples collected from Sakarya/Turkey and it wasconducted with ion chromatography method. Analyzes were performed simultaneously using the ionchromatography method. Some validation tests and the optimum conditions for the determination of anions werestudied. The analysis of anions was accomplished by the dilution of the sample injection device. Samples wereused to adjust the terms of the device and the results were recorded. Ion chromatography (IC) is now consideredas an excellent technique for the analysis of ions in many samples.Öğe A Vortex-Assisted Microextraction Based On Deep Eutectic Solvents for Determination of Four Parabens from Cosmetic Baby Oils and Optimization by Box-Behnken Design(2020) Özak, Sezen SivrikayaThis study presents microextraction and determination of four parabens by vortex-assisted microextraction basedon deep eutectic solvents (DESs) in cosmetic baby oils. The most suitable DES, ChCl-ethylene glycol moleratios of DES were determined as 1:2 for use in this study. The effect of DES types has been explored attraditional one factor experiment at a time. The effect of DES volume, dilution solvent volume and vortex timeon extraction recovery were examined and optimized by the Box-Behnken design. After optimum conditionswere determined, vortex-assisted microextraction based on DES, 0.1-100 µg mL-1concentration in the range ofthe calibration curve was plotted for all parabens. The recovery values of parabens in cosmetic baby oil sampleswere in the range of 82.02-101.95% and the RSDs were varied from 1.64% to 2.91%. This developed method isvery suitable and effective method for the extraction of parabens from cosmetic products of similar structure.
