The sample group of the study consists of 657 students studying at Düzce University in the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. The Sustainable Scale of Earthquake Awareness (SSEA) and the Earthquake Knowledge Assessment Scale (EKAS) were used as data collection tools in the research. According to the research results; It has been determined that there is a significant relationship between the earthquake knowledge levels of university students and their sustainable earthquake awareness. It was found that university students' DBS scores were moderate and high; however, it was determined that the SSEA scores were low and moderate. In terms of gender, male students have significantly higher knowledge in the dimension of "Earthquake Effects Knowledge" than female students; It has been determined that female students have a significantly higher awareness of the "Earthquake-Structure Relationship" dimension than male students. © 2023 AESSRA.
