This study examines the cooperation areas of the BRICS group in terms of agricultural policies and analyzes the situation of BRICS member countries. With the accession of new members, BRICS+ has the potential to develop stronger cooperation in the field of agriculture and food at the global level. The grain crisis showed the strategic importance of agricultural cooperation for BRICS countries. Sharing agricultural information, disseminating innovative technologies and promoting sustainable agricultural practices among BRICS countries will make their agricultural policies more effective and efficient. In this context, strengthening agricultural cooperation among BRICS countries will be a strategic step that will positively affect both their domestic dynamics and global food security. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.en10.4018/979-8-3693-7393-4.ch012info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessAgricultural EconomicsEconomicsFood SecurityFood SupplyGrain (agricultural Product)Sustainable AgricultureAgricultural InformationsAgricultural PoliciesAgricultural SectorEconomic StabilityInformation DisseminatingInnovative TechnologyMember CountriesNew MembersRural DevelopmentRegional PlanningAgricultural policies of brics member states: A critical area of cooperationBook Part3854202-s2.0-105008601630N/A
