Enes/0000-0001-9446-0988WOS: 000511448500600Cognitive radio is a new network approach that enables effectively and efficient use of limited spectrum bands. In this study, network performance analysis of a newly proposed cognitive radio wireless network (CRWN) medium access control (MAC) are investigated in order to improve the performance of wireless cognitive radio networks. Instead of proposing a new MAC technique, exist MAC techniques have been used in the literature in order to increase the performance of wireless cognitive radio networks. In this context, cognitive radio based a new MAC technique which can be a solution to the needs of wireless cognitive radio networks is proposed. Simulation of the network environment was performed with Riverbed Modeler (OPNET) software. By selecting different workloads for secondary users, the analysis of different network performance criteria such as throughput ratio and end-to-end delays has been examined.trinfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccesscognitive radioCRWNMAC protocolPerformance Analysis of MAC Technique Developed for Wireless Cognitive Radio NetworksConference ObjectN/A
