In this sense, the relation between photography and modernism and also its production has been scrutinized and the forms of usage in the postmodernist works that emerged after the developments in the post 1960 period and the processes that make the transition from modernism to postmodernism in art have been emphasized. In addition to this, today with postmodernist axes productions in art representation crisis which causes great debate have been tried to be includedFotoğraf bağlamında modernizmden postmodernizme dönüşüm ve temsil krizi isimli bu makalede, fotoğrafın sanayi devrimi sonrasında kendini var etme ve sanatsal kimlik kazanma amacıyla geçirdiği önemli evreler üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu anlamda fotoğrafın modernizm ile ilişkisi ve üretimi irdelenmiş, özellikle 1960 sonrasındaki gelişmelerle ortaya çıkan postmodernist çalışmalarda kullanım biçimleri ve sanatta modernizmden postmodernizme geçişi sağlayan süreçler üzerinde durulmuştur.
