In these systems, the transmission line capacity is increased by reactive power compensation and control can be performed. In recent years, reactive power compensation elements FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems) devices are used. FACTS devices include power electronics components. They have a faster response than conventional compensators. In this study, SVC (Static VAR Compensator) and STATCOM (Static Synchronous Compensator) that are known as the FACTS devices are used. These devices are connected to the transmission line as shunt. As a result of this simulation study, the effects of FACTS devices on the voltage stability, active - reactive power and transmission line losses were investigated.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessPower SystemVoltage StabilityFACTSSVCSTATCOMInvestigation of controller effects of SVC and STATCOM on power systemsArticle292749760N/AN/A
